Jason Gould, OD is an NBEO (National Board of Examiners in Optometry) and State of North Carolina licensed optometrist who joined Greensboro Ophthalmology Associates in 2020 after 15 years of practice at Gould Eyecare Associates. Originally from Greensboro, he obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2004, he graduated from Southern College of Optometry, after completing externships in private practice in Raleigh, NC and Salisbury VA Medical Center. After graduation and licensure, he joined his father, Sigmund Gould, MD, at his solo general ophthalmology practice, which originally opened in 1976.
Dr. Gould’s current and prior practice experience with comprehensive eyecare includes treatment and management of ocular disease, refractive/binocular vision care, and contact lens fittings. He is a lifelong Tar Heel fan with a lovely wife, two girls, and two cats, all of whom keep him happy and busy. When time permits, he is an avid reader and painter, and enjoys athletics.
