About Dr. Bradley Bowen

Brad Bowen, MD is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who joined Greensboro Ophthalmology Associates in 2015. Originally from the mountains of North Carolina, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He performed his medical school training at Wake Forest University, where he graduated in the top of his class and was elected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. After performing an internal medicine internship at Moses Cone Hospital here in Greensboro, he then completed three years of surgical ophthalmology training at Wake Forest University. Dr. Bowen appreciates that as an ophthalmologist, he has the unique opportunity to care for patients in a long-term fashion, while at the same time managing their surgical needs to help achieve their best possible vision and highest quality of life.


Dr. Bowen performs cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, as well as

various ophthalmic laser procedures, including Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatment for both dry

eye and cosmetic indications. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and

three children, as well as working outdoors in his garden.
