Sigmund Gould, MD is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who joined Greensboro Ophthalmology Associates in 2020 after over 40 years of practice at Gould Eyecare Associates. Dr. Gould began his career in medicine after graduating with his medical degree from the Buffalo School of Medicine at the State University of New York. He completed his post-doctoral training at Buffalo Children’s Hospital, Buffalo General Hospital, Buffalo VA Hospital, and LT Cmdr. Portsmouth Naval Hospital (Active Duty).
In 1976, Dr. Gould opened his private practice, Gould Eyecare Associates. There, he also worked with his son, Jason Gould, OD, for 15 years before they both joined GOA. In his free time, Dr. Gould enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, and listening to music.
