Michael Tanner, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has practiced at Greensboro
Ophthalmology Associates since 2008. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in
Spanish from Brigham Young University before attending medical school at the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He subsequently completed ophthalmology residency at UNC Chapel Hill.
Dr. Tanner provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on cataract surgery. He also performs
various ophthalmic lasers and Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatments. He enjoys spending time with his family and in the outdoors.
